Here are the best pictures from my shoot with a bunch of sculptures I've done as assignments in AP Art this year plus other ones I've done in the past
I know that they won't all work for a 3D portfolio but I had to photograph them for college apps anyway so I thought I'd put them up:

ReplyDeleteI really love the head with the wires. Everything has a cool meaning behind it. But back to the head, I love how the wires occupy space and I dont know what it is but i like it. Im not too good at evaluating 3D art so im sorry I cant be much of a help. Maybe you could use a little charcoal on the head to make its features pop out more. But like i said im not too much of an assistance.
ReplyDeleteI love the first piece it's so well-arranged and it looks so deep to me. I think the wires work really well. I love the crown, too. It looks really original. But the photos would look much more amazing if you can take more time to arrange the work before taking photos. Some of them seem too dark to me. It is greeeeeeat over all ^_^
ReplyDeletethese are all super awesome! i especially love the hands, obvi, and your use of wire. super creative for all of them. You can tell you have a wide range of abilities. You show how creative and intimate you can be wiht the art as well as showing your actual talent. kudos bro.
ReplyDeleteI love the diversity of the materials u used! I think u r activating the spaces well. The piece that is made of 3 pieces of wood + wire looks a little simple, but others are really strong. I love them!
